Bravehope Partners was created by Vanessa Besack, a lifelong advocate who has dedicated her career to helping individuals with disabilities live full and self-directed lives. She began by leading a nonprofit in Southern California, where she saw the incredible change that happens when people are supported with respect, inclusion, and opportunity. Her journey later took her to Sacramento and Washington, D.C., where she pushed for stronger rights and policies for families like yours.
Vanessa started Bravehope Partners to walk alongside people in the Self-Determination Program, making sure they have the tools, knowledge, and confidence to build the lives they want. Today, she continues to support families directly while also coaching other providers—spreading hope, independence, and empowerment to communities across California.
Danielle is a proud mother of two children with special needs. With a background in Accounting and Finance, she experienced firsthand the challenges faced by families like her own and chose to dedicate her career to supporting the developmental disabilities community.
As an Independent Facilitator, Danielle combines her professional expertise with her lived experience to help families navigate services, advocate for their needs, and build the tools for fulfilling, self-directed lives.
Jacob began his journey with Bravehope Partners as a Coordinator and apprentice, where he discovered his passion for supporting families in the Self-Determination Program. In March 2025, he earned his certification as an Independent Facilitator, and since October 2024 he has had the privilege of working directly with clients.
He enjoys collaborating with families to create plans that empower participants to achieve their goals and thrive within their communities.
